Chellano Z, Sire of world champions! In 2006 showjumping horse breeding suffered a great loss with the decease of the stallion Chellano Z. As a 6- and 7-yr-old, Chellano Z had already finished among the best ten at the World Championship for Young Horses in Lanaken. In the international show jumping sport the imposing grey stallion booked excellent results with placings in Neumünster, Valkenswaard and Rotterdam. Chellano Z has a fabulous pedigree in which the great sire Contender is united with the mare Fayence, none less than a full sister to the world famous sport and breeding stallion Corrado I on which Franke Sloothaak caused sensation. In addition, Corrado I is, without doubt, one of the most prominent suppliers of international show jumping horses in European breeding. Chellano Z more than proves his ancestry. Of the first crops of Chellano Z, a large number of sons were licensed under various studbooks. His licensed son Calvados Z, who wrote the title of the 5-yr-olds to his name at the WC for young horses in 2006, is only one example. But the story of Chellano Z does not stop with the good results scored by his offspring in young horse competitions. Meanwhile a large number of his offspring have found their way in the international showjumping sport. Famous examples are Eurocommerce Baltimore (Gerco Schröder), Camaro Z (Pedro Veniss), Caya Z (Giulia Martinengo), Chet Bull Z (James Paterson) and Cotarus Z (Ben Schröder).
Dam of Chellthago Z is Carthaga Z, a daughter by Carthago Z (by Capitol I), himself 2 times at Olympic Games successful (Atlanta und Sydney) with Jos Lansink and also now Topsire. Carthaga Z is also dam of Quinthago Z (by Quinar) who was 2009 World Champion of 5 years old jumpers with Leopold van Asten. Granddam Inka is a BWP registered daughter by Romeo (Ramiro Z x Remus I). Later in damline we find mares by Goldfalk (Grande x Frustra II), Alcanar xx and Flügel van la Roche.
